Since I’m a breastfeeding mom, my routine has always been to pretty much skip right over bottles and move to sippy cups and from there to regular cups. Six months is a good start, because this is around the time it’s recommended to introduce a little water into your baby’s life. The Nuby Traner Sipeez is designed with your six month old in mind.
It has a silicone spout that the baby sucks from which is ideal for little ones who may have newly sprouted teeth or soon may. It has a handle on each side, which makes it easy for baby to grasp. I really appreciate that it’s insulated. My husband recently got two stainless steel cups from the company that bought his company out. While it’s nice to keep a cold drink in, it can be painful and impossible to hold continuously because the ice makes it extremely cold. The insulation makes a very obvious difference. I personally can’t even tell from holding it whether the drink is cold or not because of it. That same insulation also helps to prevent the cup from getting that condensation on the outside so that you don’t have to worry about getting everything wet.
It has a nice little cap that flips right over the spout so you don’t have to worry about trying to find it. When you place the lid on, you know it’s closed because it has a clicking feature so that you know it closed and you don’t have to worry about leaks. Here’s a little video demo for you.
